CORA HOLLAND HAFFNER

Executive Operations EA & Founder

I'm Cora Holland Haffner, and I've been designing high-performance operations for executives since 2005.

I started my career supporting former Delaware Governor Pete du Pont at Richards, Layton & Finger, where I managed confidential correspondence, coordinated complex travel, and collaborated with Executive Assistants at companies where he held board positions. That's where I learned the most important principle: the best support is invisible—leaders should never have to think about whether something will get done.

Before that, I learned crisis management under fire at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. When the Executive Director departed suddenly, I inherited a flagship fundraiser just eight weeks before the event. We coordinated 50+ volunteers, secured sponsor relationships, and delivered a successful outcome. The lesson stuck: when you organize complexity into clear roles and timelines, what seemed impossible becomes inevitable.

I founded Simplicity in 2005 (became an LLC in 2018) because I saw executives struggling with a gap: they needed strategic operational partners who could architect systems and proactively solve problems, not just manage tasks reactively.

Over 20 years, I've partnered with leaders across venture capital, federal consulting, economic development, and nonprofit sectors to:

  • Design calendar architecture that protects their strategic focus time and aligns with their natural energy patterns

  • Execute high-stakes events on budget (board dinners to corporate conferences, $5K–$90K)

  • Implement technology that reclaims hours weekly without disrupting workflow

  • Leverage EA-to-EA relationships that accelerate decisions and cut through bureaucracy

  • Anticipate problems and resolve them before they reach the executive's desk

What sets this partnership apart: discretion, white-glove service, and 20 years of knowing what executives need before they have to ask.

I live in Wilmington, Delaware, with my husband and son.

If you're ready for a strategic partner who handles complexity so you can focus on impact, let's talk.

Simplicity: n. freedom from complexity
