CORA HOLLAND HAFFNER

Executive Operations EA & Founder

I'm Cora Holland Haffner, and I've been designing high-performance operations for executives since 2005.

I began my career supporting former Delaware Governor Pete du Pont at Richards, Layton & Finger, where I managed confidential correspondence, coordinated travel, and collaborated with Executive Assistants at companies where he held board positions. That's where I learned that the best support is invisible: leaders should never have to think about whether something will get done.

Before that, I gained experience in crisis management at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where I took over a flagship fundraiser eight weeks before the event following the Executive Director's sudden departure. We coordinated 50+ volunteers, secured sponsor relationships, and delivered a successful event. That's when I learned: when you organize complexity into clear roles and timelines, teams become a unified force—and what seemed impossible becomes inevitable.

I founded Simplicity in 2005 (became an LLC in 2018) because I saw a gap: executives needed strategic operational partners, not just assistants. Over the past 20 years, I've served leaders across venture capital, federal consulting, economic development, and nonprofit sectors.

What I bring:

  • Calendar architecture that protects strategic focus time

  • Event execution on budget (from board dinners to corporate conferences, with budgets from $5k to $90K)

  • Technology implementation that reclaims hours weekly per client

  • EA-to-EA relationships that get things done faster

  • 20 years of discretion, white-glove service, and anticipatory problem-solving

I live in Wilmington, Delaware, with my husband and son.

If you're ready for a strategic partner who handles complexity so you can focus on impact, let's talk.

Simplicity: n. freedom from complexity
